Practice Survey Reporting

The Practice PPG meet on various occasions for informal friendly meetings where we discuss current Health Care Topics and the Devonshire Practice in general

Our  meeting on 29.6.2016 we decided to try and work towards reducing our non attendance of appointments and one of our member s kindly produced a poster that we can record how many patients had failed to attend their appointments each week

The hope was that patients will see the poster and it will remind them to cancel appointments if unable to attend, so their appointment can be cancelled

We had a 'mop' up meeting on the 7th September and it does seem that our non attendance rates are slowly reducing!

Our recent meeting on 22nd September 17 unfortunately it was only attended by one member of our PPG , however we did discuss our DNA rates and the introduction of a Text messaging service which reminds patients of up and coming appointments- we do not have sufficient evidence to yet see if this service will improve our DNA rates

We will look to hold another meeting very soon to see if uptake can be improved!

WOW!!! what a fantastic up take we had for our recent Meeting on 28th November 2017, over 50 patients attended and stayed despite being some what 'squashed'!

It was a very positive meeting and we have uploaded the minutes of the meeting below and we have left copies in the waiting area at the Surgery PPG meeting 28th November 2017

We will be holding another meeting in the Spring and if we have the uptake we have had on this occasion, we will look for a slightly bigger venue locally!

Thank you for attending and supporting the Practice in such a positive way!
